DataMatcher
DataMatcher cross-references information received from
a number of different sources such as BackOffice and Market
Data providers. It facilitates the assignment of common identifying codes based on user-configurable rules. This cross-referencing is designed to prevent problems such as the creation of duplicate information or loss of data through incorrect matching.
DataMatcher can handle data provided in a large number of formats, e.g. Database, Text File, Spreadsheet, etc. The common identifying code attached to all matched records allows a consistent view of data from multiple sources for downstream applications.
DataMatcher provides an audit trail describing both how and when matches were made. It also provides an interface for dealing with match exceptions and the facility to create manual matches over and above those automatically generated.
DataMatcher is designed to integrate with DataConstructor (which typically requires matched data as an input) and DataInspector (the output from which can be built into matching rules).
DataMatcher can be used to support order management and compliance systems by flagging ‘suspect’ data without interrupting or slowing the investment process.
