DataPorter

DataPorter creates processes designed to import data
into, or export data from, the Cadis database. The DataPorter
can also be configured to port data between data sources unrelated to Cadis.


Features:

  • Accepts input data in a variety of formats, including delimited and fixed-width files and Oracle, MS SQL Server or any OLE DB compliant databases
  • Exports data in a variety of formats, including delimited and fixed-width files and to other Oracle, MS SQL Server or any OLE DB compliant databases
  • Accommodates non-rectangular input data containing variable length headers or footers and comment rows
  • Provides the ability to extract useful information from input data header or footer rows
  • Enables automatic de-duplication of input data
  • Allows multiple physical load/export operations to be logically grouped and executed as a unit
